We are traveling this week, so we’ll dispense with the usual essay. The only news to report is that our Italian collection has been finalized, now only waiting for importation approvals. We’re extremely happy with the selection – it’s the best of what Italy has to offer in our opinion, and we think you will agree.
Last week, we also had the opportunity to taste some “natural” wines that you might find interesting – a sparkling white (with LOTS of sediment) from Oregon and a smoky (and inexpensive) Ibero-American red that bore a STRIKING resemblance to a certain highly prized $200 European wine... More on that in a later missive...
For now, enjoy Julien’s weekly tasting lesson on how wine is made...
