Paris, France

Hello Friends,

The best complaint I’ve had about our Wine Explorers Club? It’s got to be Hank’s.

This week, as the dust settles from the election frenzy, I find myself thinking about decisions. Not about ballots or voting booths — I can’t vote in the US elections and neither here in Paris, after all — but about the everyday choices we make, and how sometimes, it’s just nice to let someone else take the reins.

Picking clothes can be a hassle. Deciding what to eat without falling for the unhealthy easy option. Or in many cases, having to pick a bottle of wine. Who hasn’t had a moment of panic in the endless wine shelves of the liquor store?

There’s something comforting in letting someone else take the lead.

Working in the wine world, I often find myself in the position where someone looks across the table and says, “You decide.” And you know what? I kind of love it.

I love that moment of trust. It’s something I’ve grown used to over the years.

It’s these little decisions that got me thinking about a recent request we received from our member Hank.

I met him for a glass in Paris back in April. He had one very specific complaint about the club: the timing.

Hank was frustrated.

He said, “I don’t need six bottles every two months. Look, a month has four weeks — that means I’ve got eight weeks, and six bottles doesn’t cut it. It bothers me! I want four bottles a month. One bottle per week. Something I can enjoy, week in, week out.

Hank’s complaint was the best kind of feedback.

It was real. Direct. And you know what? He was right.

Listening to members like Hank helps us fine-tune what we do, so we can deliver exactly what you’re looking for.

So, I made it happen for him…

Thus, The Weekly Pour was born.

Four carefully chosen bottles of wine every month. One for each week.

No more stress over what to open… Just good wine, ready to enjoy.

Picked by someone you trust. It’s like I’m sitting right there at your table, choosing something special to share.

The Weekly Pour started as a simple request, but before I knew it, we had 15 clients on board. It was becoming a lot of manual work — curating takes time, and I wanted it to be right.

So now, we’ve decided to share it with all of you.

The wines are usually reds, sometimes a champagne — but really, The Weekly Pour is about taking the decision of “what wine should we have tonight?” off your plate.

Matt, our head of marketing, even got his mom into it while we tested it.

(Thank you Mrs. Diehl for your feedback! And sorry for all the questions — I promise it’s all for a good cause. Your answers will help make future collections even better.)

Now Matt doesn’t have to bring wine to the Sunday roast anymore — a tradition they hold close, as any good Irish family does. He calls it “the best lazy son perk ever.”

We even thought about calling it “The No-Brainer Club,” because it really is that easy.

It started with one customer, grew to twenty, and now we’re ready to share it with everyone.

You might see bottles from previous collections, but rest assured, they’re always chosen with care. Quality is what this club is all about.

At the end of the day, we all make countless decisions. Some big. Some small. Some that linger. Some we wish someone else would just take care of for us.

The Weekly Pour is here to make one of those decisions easy.

Let wine take center stage — let it be the decision that brings us together, sparks conversation, and maybe even helps put all those other worries aside for a while.

So why not join The Weekly Pour?

Let us decide, and you just enjoy.

For now, I’ll let you decide. Have a great weekend.

Cheers,

Diego
