We’ve been busy the last few weeks, what with getting our Alta California collection shipped out, shooting our new tasting video with wine expert Julien Miquel, and the Argentine harvest... not to mention our first-ever livestream this past weekend out of Delray Beach, Florida.

More on that later. But first, it’s time for another Q&A with wine expert Julien Miquel…

This week, Julien investigates why restaurants serve wine at the wrong temperature… shares his thoughts on home winemaking… and explains how to go about monetizing your wine cellar…

Live From Delray Beach (continued)

On Saturday, we set up shop on the hotel rooftop with some friends of the Partnership, a few local members, our host, Mr. Scott Eddy, and 5 excellent wines:

Casarena Bodega: Naoki’s Vineyard...
Fransisco Puga y Familia: L’amitié...
Sunal: Ilógico Malbec...
Puramun: Malbec Reserva...
RD: Torrontés…

It was a great night of wine tasting and conversation, with Scott, Will, and Diego holding a livestream discussion of extreme-altitude winemaking. The tasting was accompanied by steak from Certified Angus Beef, cooked up by pro chef Dennis Littley.

If you didn’t catch the livestream, you can check out the recording here.

Don’t stress if you missed this first tasting night; we’re already planning our next! We’ll be in touch when we’ve sorted the wine list, so you can get your hands on the lineup & taste along with us.

And if you haven’t gotten a chance to see Julien’s tasting video for our Alta California collection, you can watch it here.

You’ll find out which bottle he called “a fascinating and unusual wine for California”...

...which one is “an absolute crowd-pleaser”...

...and which is “the kind of wine that you want to have a case of in your cellar to impress your friends whenever you need to”...

Until next week,
