More Information

Yacuil is the perfect blend of renowned Calchaquí wineries Yacochuya and Tacuil. 50% of the malbec grapes for this wine come from Yacochuya, from a 100 year old vineyard at 6,675 feet above sea level. The other 50% come from Tacuil, from a younger vineyard all the way up 8,360 feet above sea level. The label was designed by the renowned Salta painter Mariano Cornejo.

This malbec has an intense, deep violet-red color. The nose features complex and powerful notes of ripe red and black fruit, with spicy aromas of black pepper and cloves, and subtle notes of eucalyptus. In the mouth you’ll find ample body; velvety tannins provide structure and balance. Perfect for drinking now, or can be cellared up to 10-15 years.

Ideal for pairing with game meats, semi-hard cheeses, and stuffed pasta.
