The name “piloto de prueba” translates to “test pilot”; the project was supposed to be a mere experiment for Daniel Guillen. The test generated surprising buzz for its addition of tannat; while malbec remains king in the Andes, the tannat makes a strong impression, filled out with cabernet sauvignon. Cellar 1-10 years.
