More Information

A collaboration between our longtime Argentine partner Agustín Lanús and the Chilean winemaker Stefano Gandolini. Aguayo is a malbec from the Hualfín Valley of Catamarca, at 6,890 feet above sea level. 24 months of aging in oak barrels brings spices and smoke to the ripe red and black fruits, with a lightly balsamic background.

An elegant example of an extremely high-altitude wine, complex and refreshing… dried cherries and blackcurrants, floral notes of rosehip and a subtle hint of mint. Everything you could want in an extreme altitude malbec!
