If You Invite Me Over, I’ll Bring Something Dangerous…
Here are the wines that stayed with me. The bottles I would bring to your house, to your table, to the last dinner of the year.
Read their stories below and choose the ones you want in the checkout at the end to make your own.
Tacana Torrontés 2024 — Argentina
Bright, high-altitude Torrontés from Gualfín in Salta. Aromatic white flowers and stone fruit lifted by mountain air. This was one of the bottles that made you stop and rethink your own work, because it was your first white wine from an abandoned vineyard you helped bring back to life. A pure Andean white with a dangerous amount of charm.
Arca Yaco Amar y Vivir Finca El Monte Malbec 2020 — Argentina
A high-altitude Malbec from the Calchaquí Valley showing dark fruit, fresh acidity, and a mineral cut. You were one of the first to call this wine, well before it became a collector’s darling. Now it sells for hundreds in New York, yet it remains one of the wines you secretly hope no one asks for. Limited, expressive, and unforgettable.
Bodega Domingo Hermanos “Pachamama” Malbec 2017 — Argentina
From 7,200 feet in Cafayate. Hand-harvested fruit, silky texture, plum and cherry, and a production of only 5,800 bottles. Rafael Domingo makes wines for everyday tables and for deep reflection, and this is the bottle you bring when you want to start conversations. A soulful Salta Malbec with honesty and ambition.
Sunal Ícono 2017 — Argentina
A blend of vineyards from Salta, Tucumán, and Catamarca at 7,200 to 8,900 feet. Aged 24 months in French oak, unfined and unfiltered. Deep, powerful, elegant. This is the wine you reach for when the table is old oak and the stories are older. A true Andean icon from Agustín Lanús.
Le Mas Château Ventenac AOP Cabardès 2015 — France
A Cabardès red shaped by both Atlantic and Mediterranean winds. Dark fruit, savory spice, and mineral cut. When you told winemaker Olivier Ramé you still had bottles cellared, he laughed and handed you one of his last. A little French gem that asks nothing of you except to enjoy it.
Leuta Cortona Merlot DOC 2018 — Italy
Organic Tuscan Merlot fermented with natural yeast and aged 18 months in French oak. Black fruit, chocolate, and tobacco. This wine tastes like Cortona, a place you carry with you. Balanced, generous, and ready for any dinner. A quiet triumph from Tuscany.
Tacuil Yacuil Malbec 2021 — Argentina
A collaboration between two legendary Calchaquí families. Hand-harvested, only 6,400 bottles. A wine born from camaraderie rather than ego. It tastes like friendship in bottle form. One of your go-to picks when you need to impress without overwhelming.
Tacana Reserva Malbec 2023 — Argentina
From Gualfín at 8,421 feet. Concentrated dark fruit, polished tannins, and a clean, powerful finish. Mountain muscle with surprising finesse. A bottle that performs beautifully in any setting, from bad lighting to a tiny kitchen.
Cascina Galarin Monferrato Nebbiolo DOC Superiore 2022 — Italy
Cherry, rose, subtle spice, fine tannins, and long persistence. A Nebbiolo that carries everything you love about the wine world: family, quality, and vision. The Galarin family is building the future bottle by bottle, and this wine shows exactly where they are headed.
Weingut Topf Pinot Noir Stangl HP 2018 — Austria
From old vines in Kamptal. Aged 24 months in French barrique. Cherry, cassis, and silken spice. A Pinot Noir with Austrian elegance and a Burgundian soul. Light and precise, it mirrored your own year of becoming a father and shifting continents.
41 Norte Vendimia Seleccionada 2016 — Spain
Tempranillo from Ribera del Duero with black cherry, plum, cedar, vanilla, and tobacco. Full bodied with ripe tannins and a long finish. A wine that surprised you with its freshness and power after three years of conversations to bring it in. Spain at its bold, confident best.

2018 Cielo Arriba Collection – 3 Pack
Sale Price: $185 | Normally $250
This unique 10-acre vineyard sits over 9,000 ft. in elevation in one of Argentina’s newest and most exciting wine regions: Jujuy. Nestled in a high-altitude mountain canyon with poor, rocky soils, bright sunny days, and cold nights, it produces uniquely intense grapes. Planted mainly to malbec with cabernet franc and syrah interspersed, Cielo Arriba is co-fermented from all three varieties, adding depth and complexity.
“Despite coming from northern Argentina, Huichaira is a very cold valley due to its height—over 2,700 meters above sea level. The Nieva family’s two hectares planted in 2014, mainly with malbec but also cabernet franc and syrah, are harvested and co-fermented together. The wine shows great acidity and deliciously red, refreshing flavors—lively, with Andean breezes and herbal notes overlapping the fruit. A wine of real character, pointing to a new area opening on the horizon of Argentine wine.”
A celebration of the rich, bold flavors that define the renowned Malbec varietal from the heart of Argentina. Prepare for an extraordinary journey through the flavors of Argentina.

Tacana Torrontés 2024
Sale Price: $33 | Normally $42
(Min Order: 6 Bottles)
Tacana Torrontés comes from a once-abandoned vineyard in Angastaco, revived over 15 years and finally bottled under our own label. For the past eight harvests, these grapes went straight into the barrels of a top regional winery under NDA — but this year, we kept just ~4,000 bottles for ourselves. Dry, bright, and mountain-fresh, it shows citrus, herbs, and the mineral lift only high-desert vines can produce.
Arca Yaco Amar y Vivir Finca El Monte 2020
Sale Price: $155 | Normally $195
(Min Order: 3 Bottles)
Crafted at nearly 7,000 feet by Matías Etchart, this ultra-limited Malbec comes from his remote Finca El Monte vineyard in the Quebrada de San Lucas. Only ~1,000 bottles exist—half secured exclusively through our partnership—while Buenos Aires’ top restaurants are already cellaring the rest. Wild yet refined, it shows the intensity of high mountain terroir with the elegance Matías has become known for.
