Bodega Tapiz may be one of Argentina’s newer wineries, but their team certainly doesn’t lack experience; their in-house winemaker Fabian Valenzuela was joined by the legendary Jean Claude Berrouet in 2012. Jean Claude was longtime winemaker at world-renowned Chateau Petrus, presiding over 44 vintages.

Tapiz is a family business with a clear mission: to produce the best wines possible, protecting the environment and preserving regional cultures. To achieve these goals, they produce their own grapes, so that every year each segment retains its style and quality.

Deep red color, full of aromas and flavors of blackberries, raspberries and dried plums, with notes of spices and cassis. Its time in oak provides notes of toasted coffee, dulce de leche and dark chocolate, well integrated with the red fruit flavors. Tannins are ripe and pleasant.
