Located in the northwest part of Mendoza’s Uco Valley, Tapiz is one of the highest wineries in the region at 4,400 feet above sea level. The high-quality terroir, with sandy-loam, pebbled soils, sustainably farmed & hand-harvested, seems destined for premium and aged wines.
This example is no exception, expressing the maximum intensity on the nose of the finesse, elegance, and harmony generated by the terroir.
Notes of fresh red fruits, raspberries, cassis, and truffles accompanied by delicate spices. Oak aging brings notes of coffee and chocolate, together with fruity notes typical of this varietal of San Pablo Estate. The palate is intense, with sweet and elegant tannins, and a long finish. A wine that represents the art of precision from the vineyard to the glass.
