Every summer, before the fall arrivals show up, we take a slow walk through the warehouse. And every summer, the same problem: wines in their prime, resting in the dark, while new vintages need the racks they’re sitting on.

There’s nothing wrong with these six. Quite the opposite — they’re exactly the kind of small-lot, honest wines the Partnership was built to find. A no-oak, single-vineyard Malbec grown at nearly 7,900 feet in the quartz-and-granite sands of the Calchaquí. A high-altitude Garnacha from the rocky slopes of Tolombón, made with natural yeast. A night-harvested Mediterranean blend from the Languedoc. A classic Cabernet-led Graves with eight years of age on it. A Ribera del Duero Tempranillo from a boutique winery that made barely 8,400 bottles. And a 100% Mazuelo from Rioja — a grape so rarely bottled on its own that only 3,500 of these exist.

They’ve simply been resting in our cellar when they should be resting in yours.
