The resulting wine is called L’Intrus, which translates to Trespasser, an apt name for a wine made from Cabernet Franc, a very rare grape in Languedoc-Roussillon. Ramé’s daring pays off with a food-friendly wine bursting with cranberry and other fruit, without any cloying sweetness. Extremely limited batch. Fewer than 55 bottles left.
