Lamadrid Estate wines are born from a delicate balance between the work at the vineyard and the vinification process. Lamadrid’s mission is to be the best representation of its unique Agrelo terroir. Here they have created a beautifully balanced Agrelo terroir-driven Cabernet Sauvignon using only native yeasts with initial fermentation in concrete, followed by spontaneous malolactic fermentation in 60% new French oak and 40% second use French oak.
Ruby red, with purple hues. Aromas of dark and bitter berries, tobacco, cocoa and cedar. It’s medium-bodied with fine-grained tannins. Juicy at the end.
