A familiar bottle returns to the Bonner table

Most of our three-bottle offers begin in a vineyard.

This one begins in an olive grove.

Some Bonner customers may already know Kouzini from a previous offer. We enjoyed it enough to bring it back for a limited appearance, this time as a three-bottle pack.

Kouzini is made with olives grown on family farms in Lakonia, Greece, near the Aegean Sea. According to the producer, each 500 ml bottle contains oil made from more than 650 cold-pressed Lakonian olives. It is bottled in dark green glass within hours of picking to preserve its flavor, aroma and freshness.

Raw and unfiltered

This is not a neutral, anonymous cooking oil.

Kouzini leaves some of the olive pulp from the first cold pressing intact. The result is a fresh, fruity oil with a pleasantly peppery finish and a little more character on the table.

The producer lists its acidity between 0% and 0.4% and describes it as single-origin, gluten-free and vegan, as well as Kosher, PGI Lakonia and Non-GMO verified.

How to use it

• Dip warm bread into it
• Finish grilled meat or fish
• Drizzle over roasted vegetables
• Use on pasta and salads
• Whisk into homemade dressings
• Keep beside the stove for everyday sautéing

Why three bottles?

Because this is olive oil you will actually use.
