Honorem draws from a mosaic of high-altitude vineyards scattered across the Calchaquí Valleys, from Cafayate to Molinos and Los Zazos, rising between roughly 5,085 and 8,694 feet. Each parcel carries its own exposure, soil, and rhythm. Together, they form a single, composed voice.

This is Francisco “Paco” Puga’s most personal blend. Built around Malbec and Cabernet Franc, with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Tannat completing the frame, each variety is fermented separately before aging in French oak for approximately 18 months. The first year allows the components to develop on their own. The final months in barrel bring integration and balance.

In the glass, dark red and black fruit lead, layered with subtle herbal tones and mountain spice. The structure is firm yet controlled, the tannins polished, the acidity steady. It is not a wine built on sheer weight, but on cohesion.

Honorem does not rush to impress. It settles into itself, deliberate and assured. A wine designed to age and to sit confidently at the center of the table.
