On the hills of Rocca Bernarda in Friuli, just 120 meters above sea level, the Specogna family tends their vines with care, tradition, and a deep sense of responsibility. This is not a story of large-scale production or flashy trends—it’s one of three generations farming the same land, guided by biodiversity, precision, and a profound respect for nature.
Cristian Specogna, named Italy’s best young winemaker in 2023, carries this legacy forward. His Cabernet Franc is grown organically on marl and sandstone soils, shaped by Alpine air and Adriatic breezes. The grapes are hand-harvested, aged in small oak barrels for 24 months, then bottled without shortcuts.
What you get is structure without heaviness, fruit without excess, and spice that whispers rather than shouts. Notes of wild berries, dried herbs, and toasted wood weave together seamlessly. This is a wine for those who care where their wine comes from—and who made it.
