There’s a reason Barolo is called the King of Wines—and Borgognot’s 2021 vintage reminds us why. At the foot of the legendary Cannubi Boschis hill, where Tortonian and Helvetian soils meet in rare union, the Borgogno family has cultivated Nebbiolo since 1950. Today, sisters Virna and Ivana continue the tradition with precision and passion, blending grapes from five iconic crus: Liste, Fossati, Cannubi, Cannubi San Lorenzo, and San Pietro delle Viole.

Organically certified since 2019, their estate honors the past with a deep respect for nature, fermenting the Nebbiolo in concrete, aging it over 24 months in large Slavonian oak casks, then bottling after further rest in stainless steel and six months of repose. The result is a classic, structured Barolo—elegant in texture, fresh in acidity, and laced with depth and spice.

Awarded 94 points by James Suckling, this Barolo balances history and modernity. It’s not just a wine—it’s a living portrait of Piedmontese greatness.
