Malbec Day – Special Occassion Premium Collection
Wines like these aren’t found. They’re earned. Sourced from some of the most extreme elevations in the world — where the air thins and the soil fights back — this collection brings together three of Argentina’s most uncompromising expressions of terroir and tradition. From Tacuil’s “Yacuil” Malbec, grown on sacred, rocky soils with no oak and no interference — to the 2020 “Finca El Monte” Malbec, a single-estate Mendoza wine defined by precision, restraint, and quiet power. And finally, the Raquis “Monasterio” 2022 — a modern icon in the making, crafted by a Paul Hobbs–trained winemaker who brings international structure to Mendoza’s raw beauty. Each bottle is an heirloom in the making — produced in tiny quantities, aged with care, and delivered only to those who understand what wine can be when nature is both adversary and muse.

More Information
2021 Tacuil “Yacuil” Malbec – AR: Yacuil is the perfect blend of renowned Calchaquí wineries Yacochuya and Tacuil. 50% of the malbec grapes for this wine come from Yacochuya, from a 100 year old vineyard at 6,675 feet above sea level. The other 50% come from Tacuil, from a younger vineyard all the way up 8,360 feet above sea level. The label was designed by the renowned Salta painter Mariano Cornejo.
Pair With: Grilled poultry, goat cheese, herbed pastas
2020 Amar Y Vivir Finca El Monte Malbec – AR: From the heart of the Calchaqui Valley, the Finca El Monte delivers a more polished side of the spectrum. Sourced from a single estate, this Malbec shows rich plum and black cherry wrapped in soft tannins and just a kiss of oak. Balanced, elegant, and built to impress.
Pair With: Braised meats, dark chocolate, hearty stews
2022 Raquis Monasterio – AR: Crafted by a former Paul Hobbs apprentice in the heights of Mendoza, Raquis “Monasterio” is a bold expression of terroir and technique. Aged in French oak, it shows depth and polish: blackberry, roasted pepper, and a savory, mineral edge that lingers. It’s structured but smooth, modern but honest — and dangerously easy to love.
Pair With: Steak, charred vegetables, Manchego cheese
