More Information

Daniel Guillen is one of those rare winemakers who believes that if you put the effort into the vineyard, the best thing you can do in the winery is get out of the way. 95% malbec (5% cab sauv). The malbec is from vineyards planted in granite-heavy soils in Pucará Valley, and sandy soils in Cafayate Valley. The cab sauv comes from rocky soils of Cafayate, trained with free canopy. Bright red color with violet borders. Complex nose with cherries and blueberry jam, and hints of spice & pepper. Elegant and harmonious mouthfeel, with fresh and soft tannins. Long and smooth ending with notes of tobacco and oak.
