The Luca Malbec is a testament to Argentina’s hidden vineyards and the artisans who bring them to life. Winemaker Luis Reginato partners with small, undiscovered growers whose old-vine Malbec would otherwise vanish into bulk blends—rescuing these exceptional grapes to craft wines of rare depth and character.

Sourced from vines averaging 51 years old in La Consulta and Gualtallary—two of the Uco Valley’s most revered subregions—this Malbec reflects its high-altitude origins at 3,500 feet. The vines bask in long, sunny days under the watchful eye of the San Jose volcano, nourished by the Tunuyán River and cooled by crisp Andean nights.

The result is a dark, complex wine layered with aromas of spice, black cherry cola, and cocoa. On the palate, fresh berry flavors burst forward before giving way to a lingering finish with a hint of espresso. Aged for 12 months in French oak (20% new, 70% second-use), the Luca Malbec balances richness and finesse in perfect harmony.

With 93 points from both Wine Enthusiast and James Suckling, this is a Malbec that defines modern Argentina—small-batch, sustainable, and unforgettable. Cellar-worthy for 5–10 years.
