Brought to you by the Bonner Private Wine Partnership

Dear International Living Reader,

As you know, the best moments of a trip are often the most serendipitous.

It's stumbling upon a wine bar with only local producers on the list — and every single wine is delicious. Or sipping on a wine the restaurant owner pours for you: the "bistro wine" his neighbor makes for just a few close friends.

These experiences are why we travel. To uncover places and experiences that can never be replicated at home.

But imagine if you could. What if those soulful wines at that wine bar came right to your door? How would you feel if that neighboring vigneron sent you several different cuvées to taste?

Allow me to introduce myself: I'm Diego Samper, Wine Explorer for the International Living Wine Club — a wine club unlike anything else, where you go to get direct access to rare bottles and producers.

Diego Samper & Will Bonner · Finca Gualfín, Argentina

As you might know, International Living Magazine was founded in 1979 by Bill Bonner. Over years of living in different parts of the world — especially France and Argentina — Bill and his family developed a love of good wine.

And he noticed something again and again: the most memorable wines weren't the famous ones. They were the ones locals poured without thinking twice. Simple, honest bottles. Part of everyday life. But when he returned home, those wines rarely followed him back. That gap stayed with him.

Through his International Living contacts, Bill bought a cattle ranch in Argentina that turned out to hold a very unique grape vineyard — among the highest in the world. The Bonner family became accidental winemakers. In 2019, Bill's son Will founded Bonner Private Wine Partnership, and in 2025 their passions came full circle with the launch of the International Living Wine Club, created exclusively for International Living subscribers.

That sense of wonder you feel when you travel? Those authentic connections you make when setting down roots? You'll feel that every time you open a bottle.

I travel the world seeking out family-run estates to share with you. Through personal relationships with vignerons, I obtain top cuvées that otherwise would rarely come stateside. I don't sell these wines to grocery stores or wine shops — I share them only with our members.

Every wine must meet strict criteria before it's even considered: small, family-run estates; mindful farming with no herbicides or pesticides, often organic; and wines that have real personality.

Most have rarely made it to the U.S. — they have a devoted following at home and usually sell out before the winemaker can even consider exporting.

6 Rare bottles every quarter
<2,500 Bottles total per selection
5+ Wine regions a year

These are not the cookie-cutter wines you buy at a grocery store — those are manufactured for consistency, and they're soulless. Why drink the same thing everyone else is drinking when there's a better way, and at a great value?

The most unique wine club in America — now opening its doors to International Living readers.

"The wine is alive — and when you taste it for the first time, it's magic."
— Diego Samper, Wine Explorer

Wines With a Story to Tell.

Tuscan Sangiovese

Tuscan Sangiovese
The hills of Tuscany

Made by a family in the same concrete tanks their grandparents used. No flashy label, no pretension — just the wine the locals drink every night.

Sierra de Gredos Garnacha

Steep granite terraces

Grown where vines cling to black rock. Production is measured in hundreds of bottles — not thousands.

Southern Rhône Red

Mineral-driven and honest, pulled from a cellar where most of the wine is sold within a few miles of the vineyard — usually to the same families, year after year.

High-Altitude Malbec

High-Altitude Malbec
Extreme elevation

Bold and juicy, grown so high that the UV light is strong enough to sunburn the grapes — if you can believe it.

How it works

Turnkey Access to Bottles No One Else Can Find.

1
Every quarter, you receive 6 bottles of rare wine from different regions — France, Italy, Spain, Argentina, and beyond.
2
These small-production selections — most under 2,500 bottles total — are rarely available in U.S. stores.
3
No chemicals, added sugars, or other additives. We seek out producers who care for their vineyards and their craft in the cellar.
4
Your wine ships directly from the source — protecting the integrity of the wine and cutting out middleman and grocery-store markups.
5
You also receive personal tasting notes and stories from the winemakers — learning first-hand about their region and their craft.

Diego Samper, Wine Explorer A final word

Envision hosting friends for dinner and pulling out a rare red from a father-daughter winemaking duo in Sicily — wines from that volcanic island are among the most scintillating in the world. Can you imagine their reaction when they taste a bottle they'd be hard-pressed to find here?

As a Founding Member, you get to experience that thrill of discovery over and over, with each shipment. But the spots are very limited, and these wines simply aren't made in large enough quantities to go around.

Cheers to the good life.

WE CANNOT SHIP TO THESE STATES:

Arkansas, Delaware, Mississippi, Utah. If you live in one of these states, you’ll need to select an alternative delivery destination.

*Note: Shipping is available to Alaska & Hawaii for additional fee*

Please be aware:
We cannot deliver to P.O. boxes. An adult signature is required for all shipments of alcohol.

A note about our Satisfaction Guarantee: Wines, sadly, are not like power tools. A hardware store can always resell a hammer you used a couple times. Not so for a bottle of wine. Once you pop the cork, it’s a total loss to us. For that reason, we cannot offer full refunds on these offers. But don’t worry, if the wine arrives and there’s something wrong with it, just give us a call and we’ll do what we can to make it right. As a member, your satisfaction is all-important to us.
