Our Birthday.
Your Bottles.

Seven years ago, we sent out the first shipment. To mark the anniversary, we went back into the cellar — and pulled a selection from the producers who built this club.

Argentina· Chile· France· Spain· Italy

April always brings two things for us. Our anniversary. And Malbec Day. We didn't plan it that way. But it fits. Because this whole thing started with a few bottles from Argentina.

I remember the first shipment. Not a "collection." Just a few wines Will Bonner and I thought mattered. Around 300 members. Not huge. But enough.

Back then, nobody talked about altitude. You didn't see it on labels. No one was trying to sell it. We drove six hours into Gualfín — dust everywhere, a flat tire, the radio cutting in and out. And then the mountains. You stop talking. Not because you're trying to. You just do.

"It didn't start with altitude. It started with a few bottles on a table. With a bit of doubt. A long road. A place that didn't need explaining."

Seven years later, close to 30 collections. Argentina, France, Spain, Italy, and others in between. Small, boutique wineries. The kind you don't usually come across. Different tables. Same thread.

And if you've been with us, you've seen it. You've opened those bottles. You've had that moment where the table goes quiet. That's the whole thing.

To celebrate, we went back into the cellar and pulled a small birthday selection — wines from the producers who've been with us from the start. We did the legwork. You get the bottles.

Agustin Lanus 4 Pack — Sunal Wines
4 Bottles · Original Producer

Agustín Lanús 4-Pack

The Man Behind Sunal — Here Since Day One
Salta & Mendoza · Argentina High & Extreme Altitude · Low Intervention

Agustín Lanús was one of the first winemakers we ever worked with. His Sunal Ilógico Malbec was in the original shipment — and it became one of the best-selling wines in the Partnership's history. Seven years later, he's still pushing further up the mountain.

This four-bottle collection is a masterclass in what Lanús does: strength, precision, and a refusal to make wine the easy way. The Sunal Icono 2017 has become a cult favorite among members. The experimental Criolla and two bold Facón bottlings from Bad Brothers round out a set that covers the full range of his vision.

  • Altos Terruños Sunal Ilógico Criolla 2022
  • Sunal Ilógico Malbec 2019
  • Bad Brothers Facon Syrah 2019
  • Sunal Salvaje Luracatao 2021

An edge-of-the-Andes experience, bottled. From the producer who started it all.

Raúl Dávalos Valle Arriba 6-Pack

The Ranch. The Vines. The Winemaker.
Salta · Argentina 6,000–8,000 Feet · Malbec, Tannat, Torrontés, Criolla

We came to Raúl Dávalos with a simple question: could we make wine with the grapes and vines already on the ranch? What came out of that conversation became Tacana — one of the best-selling wines in the Partnership's history.

Valle Arriba is Dávalos' own label — six bottles from Salta's most extreme altitudes, between 6,000 and 8,000 feet. Malbec, Tannat, Torrontés, and Criolla, each one a story of place and precision from a man who has spent his life learning this particular piece of land.

  • Valle Arriba El Cateño Malbec 2023 — Argentina (x2)
  • Valle Arriba El Pucareño Malbec 2023 — Argentina (x2)
  • Valle Arriba El Seclateño Tannat 2023 — Argentina (x2)

Six bottles. One winemaker. A lifetime of altitude.

The Andean Gathering Collection

Argentina's Wine Revolution, Six Bottles at a Time
Salta, Mendoza & La Rioja · Argentina High-Altitude · Malbec, Criolla, Cabernet, Field Blends

At the foot of the Andes, where rocky soils meet dramatic elevation, some of the most distinctive wines in the world are being made. This collection is a curated look at that rising frontier — six bottles that span the breadth of what Argentina is becoming.

Malbec makes several appearances, but it shares the stage with Criolla, Cabernet, and field blends that speak to a region still in evolution. From ancient vines to mountain-fresh acidity, from Salta to Mendoza to La Rioja — this is Argentina's wine revolution in a single box.

  • Sunal Ilógico Criolla 2022 — Calchaqui Valley
  • Tacana Reserva Malbec 2022 — Calchaqui Valley
  • Cielo Arriba 2019 — Mendoza
  • Casarena Cabernet Sauvignon Owen Vineyard 2019 — Agrelo
  • Valle de la Puerta "Colección Quinquela" — Famatina Valley
  • El Viticultor Acero Malbec 2022 — Uco Valley

Bold, mineral-driven, and full of character. The soul of Argentina's wine revolution.

The Spiderweb Collection

6 Bottles That Prove Time Can Be Kind
Chile · Italy · Spain · France · Australia Nearly a Decade or More in Bottle · Only 15 Left

We've brushed off the dust and polished the glass. Inside these bottles, time has done its quiet work. Each wine has spent nearly a decade or more evolving into something richer, softer, and more complex — not remakes of the original, but the originals, aged into balance and grace.

This is your chance to taste what time adds, not what it takes away. The edges are gone. The flavors are integrated. Each sip feels like a story finishing its last chapter. You can't fake this kind of maturity.

  • Loma Larga "Rapsodia" 2012 — Chile
  • Feyles Nebbiolo 2013 — Italy
  • Pago de Larrainzar "Raso Reserva" 2013 — Spain
  • EME de Casado Morales Mazuelo 2015 — Spain
  • Le Mas Château Ventenac AOP Cabardès 2015 — France
  • Balnaves "The Blend" — Australia

Some bottles have more than ten years behind them. All have something to say.

To Celebrate, We Share.
As All Good Wines Should.

These collections were pulled from the places that built this club. Producers we've worked with since the beginning. Wines that crossed an ocean because we believed they were worth it.

Seven years later, it still feels the same. A bottle gets opened. Glasses get poured. And for a second, things go quiet.

Why Choose The Bonner Private Wine Partnership

About the Bonner Private Wine Partnership

The Bonner Private Wine Partnership is your passport to the world’s most extraordinary small-batch wines—sourced from remote, family-run vineyards across Europe and South America. We deliver handcrafted, additive-free wines you won’t find in stores… and the stories behind them. No middlemen. No mass production. Just real wine, for those who crave something rare.

WE CANNOT SHIP TO THESE STATES:

Arkansas, Delaware, Mississippi, Utah. If you live in one of these states, you’ll need to select an alternative delivery destination.

*Note: Shipping is available to Alaska & Hawaii for additional fee*

Please be aware: We cannot deliver to P.O. boxes. An adult signature is required for all shipments of alcohol.

A note about our Satisfaction Guarantee: Wines, sadly, are not like power tools. A hardware store can always resell a hammer you used a couple times. Not so for a bottle of wine. Once you pop the cork, it’s a total loss to us. For that reason, we cannot offer full refunds on these offers. But don’t worry, if the wine arrives and there’s something wrong with it, just give us a call and we’ll do what we can to make it right. As a member, your satisfaction is all-important to us.
