The 2026 Argentine Collection
Dear Fellow Wine Lover,
Today, we're opening our cellar doors — and giving you the chance to reserve wines from our most carefully assembled Argentina collection to date, at a meaningful discount, for a limited time.
These are not supermarket wines. They are small-batch, limited-production bottles from winemakers who have spent years earning the right to work at altitude. Winemakers who wait. Who intervene as little as possible. Who let the vineyard do the heavy lifting and the cellar stay quiet.
The 2026 collection spans two of Argentina's most fascinating wine regions: the high-altitude drama of the Calchaquí Valley in Salta, and the elegant cadence of Mendoza. Together they tell a fuller story.

Your 2026 Collection
2018
Calchaquí Valley, Salta

Produced in collaboration with Raúl Dávalos of Tacuil, this Malbec comes from a small vineyard in Seclantás — where warmer valley temperatures and sandy, alluvial soils yield a broader, more generous expression than the austere sites farther up the mountain. Winemaker Ovidio farms with patient restraint. No oak. Native yeasts only. The cellar stays quiet and the vineyard speaks clearly.
Eight years of bottle age have transformed this wine: vibrant red fruit has deepened into dark blackberry and dried plum, with mountain herbs and integrated tannins. A demonstration that the northern Calchaquí Valley is about longevity, not just intensity.
Tasting Notes
Dark blackberry, dried plum, mountain herbs, savory spice — precise acidity, long finish.
Pairs with: Grilled lamb, aged manchego, herb-crusted roast chicken
2020
Alto Agrelo, Mendoza

The Mendoza voice in this collection. Founder Marcial Sánchez Elía came to winemaking after years of tasting broadly and watching trends rise and fade. When he finally bottled his own interpretation — alongside winemaker Germán Masera — he chose balance over volume. Cofermented Malbec and Cabernet Franc, handled with native yeasts and aged in neutral French oak.
Cabernet Franc provides lift and aromatic precision. Malbec brings mid-palate depth without softening the spine. Broader fruit and smoother contours than the northern wines — a contrast that sharpens both perspectives.
Tasting Notes
Red fruit, subtle herbs, fine linear structure — fresh, elegant, long.
Pairs with: Duck breast, mushroom risotto, roasted beet salad
2024
Payogasta, Calchaquí Valley, Salta

Born in Burgundy, firmly anchored in the Calchaquí Valley. Thibaut Delmotte chose to plant his parcel high above the valley floor — where wind, sun, and poor soils demand precision — and to make a classic Rhône-style GSM. Each variety fermented separately with native yeasts, then aged 12 months in seasoned French oak. The goal was not impact. It was harmony.
Grenache brings brightness. Syrah grounds with darker savory tones. Mourvèdre tightens the frame. Fine-grained tannins, polished texture, lift in the finish. A north Argentine wine interpreted through a French lens — but belonging entirely to Argentina.
Tasting Notes
Red and dark fruit, savory edge, mountain spice — fine-grained, polished, lifted finish.
Pairs with: Braised short ribs, roast lamb, charcuterie board
2022
Cafayate, Molinos & Los Zazos, Calchaquí Valley

Francisco "Paco" Puga's most personal wine — assembled from multiple high-altitude parcels across the Calchaquí Valleys, drawing fruit from three distinct sites. Malbec and Cabernet Franc are the backbone, with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Tannat completing the structure. Each variety is fermented separately and aged 18 months in French oak.
The result is not about weight. It is about integration. Dark red and black fruit on the nose, structured yet controlled on the palate, firm tannins, steady acidity. A wine built with patience, designed to sit at the center of a table.
Tasting Notes
Dark red and black fruit, mountain spice, herbal tones — structured, integrated, long finish.
Pairs with: Argentine asado, beef tenderloin, aged hard cheeses
2019
Tolombón, Calchaquí Valley, Salta

Atypico began as a shared project between three friends along Ruta 40 in Tolombón. One contributed the vineyard. One brought the barrels. Agustín Lanús brought the winemaking. Sandy and stony soils reflect heat and allow steady ripening despite the elevation. Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon, handled with restraint, aged in French oak to support the frame without overpowering it.
The project endured after personal loss and continues in smaller volumes. The wine reflects that same steadiness. Direct. Honest. Intentional. A previous vintage appeared in this club; this 2019 carries the same spirit, shaped by a different season.
Tasting Notes
Dark fruit, subtle herbal and savory notes — fresh, focused, firm tannins with length.
Pairs with: Pepper-crusted steak, roasted vegetables, aged cheddar
2024
Molinos, Calchaquí Valley, Salta

Deep in Molinos, nearly 8,660 feet above sea level, Tacuil sits in a part of the Calchaquí Valley that does not soften itself for anyone. The Dávalos family has worked this land for generations. Raúl Dávalos continues the same approach: farm carefully, intervene only when necessary, bottle what the vineyard gives. Grapes farmed organically. Spontaneous fermentation. No oak aging. Minimal manipulation.
Dark mountain fruit, wild herbs, a faint mineral tension tied to the altitude itself. Firm structure that holds the wine upright. Acidity that keeps it moving. It does not broaden. It stays focused. A wine that does not bend.
Tasting Notes
Dark mountain fruit, wild herbs, mineral tension — firm, focused, unyielding.
Pairs with: Grilled ribeye, chimichurri lamb, earthy stews
